Appearances are deceptive! Some would describe me as butch and some as femme. The fact is I am sometimes both. It all really depends on my state of mind. If you want to put a label on me you can call me a ...

Where I am Now!

Little more than three years ago I moved back to Colorado, the State I was born in, it was a move I made because I missed the Rockies and being close to my roots. What I did not expect was that California (particularly the SF Bay Area) had come to mean so much more to me than Colorado ever did. I spent much of my time and my money traveling back and forth to the San Francisco Bay Area with the goal of returning there before the end of 2003, and in mid-November 2003 I accomplished exactly that!

Finally this past June (2004) I was able to sell my house in Colorado, pay some big bills, and save the rest. If you'd like to see where I was living, please **click here to see the pictures**.

For now renting in California is pretty much my only option, and I am adapting rather well. I found this really kewl apartment a block from Lake Merritt in Oakland that even has a partial view of the lake and the management let me have my 5 kitties and big fish tank.

Where I Lived in Colorado

I lived on almost three acres in the Colorado Rockies, near a small town called Red Feather Lakes up near the Wyoming border.  Not far away from there is Rocky Mountain National Park, a part of which can be seen from my house.  The wildlife there is incredible.  I could look out my windows and see Mule Deer browsing across the land just about every day, or encounter Red Fox, Black Bear, Coyotes, an amazing variety of Avian life, and other animals as I went about my life there.

About an hour drive away is Fort Collins, Colorado, the home of Colorado State University (CSU), my alma mater.  You can also find healthy and wholesome food in Fort Collins at the Fort Collins Food Co-op located at 250 East Mountain Avenue, in Fort Collins' historic Old Town
